Thrown away and left to fend for herself, Raisin—a heavily pregnant mom dog—was abandoned by her owner. Forced to give birth on the streets, her situation seemed hopeless. Thankfully, we were able to rescue Raisin and her eight tiny puppies just in time.
Now safe at a veterinary clinic, Raisin is doing her best to care for her newborns, despite her fear of humans from a life of mistreatment. Her love and dedication to her puppies are inspiring, but they all need our help to survive and thrive.
Seeking a Safe Space for Ubud's Dogs
A temporary shelter in Ubud is now facing an urgent challenge. The space that once housed over 20 dogs and 1 kitten is no longer available, and the animals are at risk of losing their only safe haven. Without a new shelter, these rescued animals have nowhere to go. The dedicated volunteers who care for them are searching for a temporary location within the Ubud area, where they can continue to visit and ensure the animals receive the love and care they need.

But hope came just in time. We found another nursing mom—herself rescued just a day earlier after being tied up in the rain with her own puppies. Miraculously, she accepted these orphans as her own.
Now, the adoptive mom and all eight puppies are safe at the vet. However, their journey is far from over. They need urgent veterinary care, life-saving vaccines, and extra nourishment to give them the best chance at life.
